Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional scenario-planning initiatives to map 2026 industry disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Develop data-driven strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Present executive-level trend briefings to the board of directors with actionable recommendations
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement organizational foresight programs to embed future-thinking across 15+ departments
- Author annual '2026 Horizons Report' published in Harvard Business Review and WIRED
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists while building an internal 'Future Intelligence Unit'
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent field
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains: AI ethics, space commerce, or bio-digital convergence
- Fluency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier business or technology publications
- Experience scaling foresight programs from concept to enterprise-wide adoption
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from the Association of Professional Futurists (APF) preferred
