- Develop future scenario models and risk mitigation strategies for long-term business planning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation initiatives with future market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead workshops on future trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
- Monitor and report on geopolitical, technological, and economic factors affecting future business landscapes
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (articles, white papers, books)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
