Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework, scanning horizon signals across technology, geopolitics, and socio-cultural shifts
- Lead scenario planning workshops that stress-test organizational resilience against disruptive futures
- Produce quarterly 'Future Briefs' synthesizing trend analysis into executive-ready insights
- Design cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026 capability-building
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial outcomes
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFPS) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
