Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive trends in AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Develop and operationalize 2026 strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact metrics
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities and resilience
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and technology pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development and market positioning strategies
- Lead scenario-planning exercises for existential risks and black swan events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex adaptive systems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry platforms
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio of successful strategic initiatives launched in the last 5 years
