Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise-wide adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings for board-level decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and emerging tech incubators
- Design and implement horizon-scanning processes to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Advise executive leadership on long-term strategic positioning and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, horizon scanning, and backcasting
