Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for 2026 market readiness and competitive positioning
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-focused products and services
- Produce quarterly horizon-scanning reports with actionable insights
- Forge partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Advise executive leadership on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Drive innovation sprints to validate futuristic concepts through rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
