As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global thought leaders to develop forward-looking roadmaps. You'll transform complex data into compelling narratives that inspire organizational change and drive competitive advantage in an era of unprecedented technological acceleration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technology trends, scientific breakthroughs, and socioeconomic indicators shaping 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to emerging disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-oriented priorities
- Produce thought leadership content (reports, whitepapers, keynotes) positioning FutureWorks as a future-ready pioneer
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into innovation pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor horizon-scanning sources (academic research, patent databases, startup ecosystems) for early signals
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into stakeholder-ready insights
- Experience developing and implementing organizational change initiatives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
