Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological convergence patterns across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging market opportunities in decentralized systems and neurotech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into executable product plans
- Establish ethical frameworks for deploying breakthrough technologies at scale
- Partner with VPs of Innovation to prioritize R&D investments for 2026 product launches
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry publications and investor briefings
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record mapping technology adoption curves (e.g., AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Computational Physics)
