Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market paradigms emerging through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise adaptation to future disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Produce trend reports and predictive models quantifying market shifts and technology adoption curves
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused capabilities into development roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
