Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations on new loan applications and account reviews to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and banking records to validate borrower information.
- Monitor existing customer accounts for signs of financial distress and proactively recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and present recommendations to the credit committee for approval.
- Update and maintain accurate credit files in the company’s database systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and collections, to ensure smooth account management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
