Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations including Truth in Lending Act
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and credit bureaus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and industry standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial documents and regulatory requirements
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA) preferred but not required
