Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Process accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliation cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 clients with bi-weekly compliance checks
- Coordinate sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflow efficiency
- Provide proactive financial consultation to client portfolio
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Proven expertise in multi-client payroll processing and tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and PivotTable skills
- Professional certification (CPA, CB, or AIPB) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial entries
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
- Experience with construction or service industry accounting preferred
