Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with sales tax filings and quarterly tax preparation.
- Process expense reports and assist with year-end audit support.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a busy office environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Desktop experience is a plus).
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
