Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly filings
- Generate financial reports for client meetings
- Implement bookkeeping best practices across accounts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy rate
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Local New Orleans business network preferred
