Job Summary
As our Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can ensure our financial data is 100% accurate.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, verifying hours worked and tax withholdings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
