Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, including reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial packages.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain accurate tax records and assist with annual tax filings and audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain digital financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
