Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Weekly Payroll Support: Assist in the accurate calculation and distribution of weekly payroll data to ensure employees are paid on time.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Compliance & Audits: Maintain up-to-date financial records and assist in internal and external audits.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance; experience with weekly payroll processing is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
