Responsibilities
- Execute weekend financial reconciliations and journal entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable during off-peak hours
- Prepare weekend payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Generate weekend financial reports for executive review
- Maintain weekend audit documentation and compliance
- Coordinate with weekday accounting team for handovers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- New York State residency required
