Responsibilities
- Perform weekly payroll processing and manage tax deductions accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts for the weekend period.
- Prepare and post necessary journal entries to the general ledger.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures on a recurring basis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of verifiable experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
