Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations during weekend shifts including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed commentary for leadership review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely processing of weekend transactions
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to maintain SOX and GAAP adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with weekend coverage
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage complex reconciliations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to work independently in a non-traditional schedule with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial audits
