Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and loan accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Accounts Management: Process and post daily transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and Balance Sheets.
- Payroll Support: Assist with weekend payroll processing and tax document verification.
- System Maintenance: Update and maintain general ledger software, ensuring all entries are compliant with GAAP standards.
- Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries regarding account status and financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, specifically within a corporate or CPA firm setting.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage 50.
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
