Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for our clients on a weekend schedule, including daily reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and collections.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and general ledgers (GL).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Experience with AP/AR reconciliation and bank recs is essential.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
