As a Weekend Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity. You will handle the closing of books, reconciliation, and financial reporting during our peak weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance for business units.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and generate accurate financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor statements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
