In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the week-end closing processes and ensuring our clients' financial records are immaculate. You will work closely with our weekday accounting team to process transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports, ensuring continuity and precision for our growing portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
- Execute daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entries with precision.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for a select group of clients.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Review and verify all financial documents, receipts, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with clients regarding account inquiries and status updates during weekend hours.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial filing systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and basic tax preparation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional for remote tasks).
- AA degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
