Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll and vendor payments on weekends
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets and income reports
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles with weekend-specific deadlines
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction recording and reporting
- Support tax document preparation and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with weekend shift preference
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
