Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to handle the financial operations for our growing client base during our weekend shift. You will ensure that all financial data is reconciled, reported accurately, and compliant with generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and weekend closing procedures for multiple small business clients.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist with payroll processing and W-2 preparation.
- Prepare basic financial statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices or account discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
