Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage our weekend accounting operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records while ensuring all weekend tasks are completed with precision and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the weekend period.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
