Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports for clients
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Communicate financial insights to clients during weekend meetings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client visits
- Familiarity with sales tax filing in California
