Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, with precision and accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure all discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Reconcile financial statements and ensure all weekend postings are balanced correctly.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and invoices.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, specifically focusing on weekend deliverables.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management as required.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
