Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with the general ledger.
- Prepare and post monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll processing for weekend staff and contractors.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and quarterly financial reviews.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekends.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday.
