Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-week bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and credit cards.
- Process and post weekly payroll transactions, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Review and approve incoming invoices and vendor payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices.
- Communicate discrepancies to the Senior Accountant promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with weekend availability.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
