Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform daily journal entries.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and audit preparations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
