Responsibilities
- Reconcile Financial Accounts: Review bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and ensure all billing is current and accurate.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets for weekend review.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for the week.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger with precision and timeliness.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input data and generate necessary financial documents.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity in financial records.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to team members.
