Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions weekly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately.
- Prepare weekly payroll reports and manage payroll tax filings.
- Assist in the month-end closing process for specific client accounts.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and general ledgers.
- Utilize accounting software to generate financial statements and reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a proven ability to work weekends.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
