Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a retail or service industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principles.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
