Responsibilities
- Accurately process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Maintain digital and physical financial records with audit-ready precision
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for real-time bookkeeping tasks
- Support weekend payroll processing for 15+ employees
- Prepare sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with weekday team via digital handover protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or 3+ years equivalent experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of weekend/holiday shift reliability
- California bookkeeper certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
