Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closings
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Support external audits and tax preparation activities
- Utilize NetSuite and QuickBooks for transaction processing and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Excel with VLOOKUP/PivotTable skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume settings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory filings
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
