- Assist with tax documentation and year-end audits
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Communicate financial insights to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of DC tax regulations and GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and time management skills
