Join our dynamic finance team as a Weekend Bookkeeper in sunny Miami! We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage weekend financial operations while our core team enjoys work-life balance. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with on-site weekend coverage at our downtown Miami office. You'll be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our growing client base across South Florida.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable with weekend-specific transaction volumes
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts bi-weekly
- Prepare month-end closing reports for Monday morning handoff
- Manage weekend payroll processing for hourly staff
- Update and maintain QuickBooks with weekend transactions
- Assist with quarterly tax document preparation
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for weekend operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Experience with multi-currency transactions preferred
- Strong attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy rate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 8AM-4PM) mandatory
- FL CPA license a plus but not required
