Responsibilities
- Execute the week-end closing procedures for general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for weekend transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable for the weekend period.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and filing systems.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to resolve accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
