Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts on weekends
- Process payroll and vendor payments during off-peak hours
- Analyze financial data and prepare weekend-specific financial reports
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles for weekend transactions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls during weekend operations
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial continuity
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend/holiday availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Experience with month-end closing procedures
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of California tax regulations
