Responsibilities
- Manage the end-of-week financial close process, ensuring all general ledger entries are accurate and posted before the Monday morning deadline.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts for the weekend period.
- Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports for executive review.
- Process and verify payroll for weekend staff and contractors.
- Assist with quarterly and annual audit preparations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid weekend setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
