Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Process payroll and tax filings for weekend operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis
- Implement and maintain internal controls for remote workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years' experience
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Experience with remote accounting systems and secure data handling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of California tax regulations and compliance standards
