Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed and payments are made on schedule.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audit schedules.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with weekend shift exposure.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Associate (AA) degree preferred.
