As our Weekend Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our financial records are accurate and our clients receive top-tier service. You will work closely with our finance team to close the books, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare monthly and weekly financial reports and variance analyses.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and payroll data.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero (QuickBooks preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
