Responsibilities
- Execute end-of-week closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with high precision.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal review.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit and tax documentation.
- Maintain and update the general ledger for accuracy and compliance.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and financial issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance (prior weekend shift experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
