Responsibilities
- Execute accurate monthly and quarterly closing procedures on weekends.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense management.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on weekends.
