Responsibilities
- Process weekend accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare weekly financial reports and variance analyses
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team on cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Virginia CPA license preferred but not required
