Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and fixed assets on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and process payroll for weekend staff, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and financial reports.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable cycles.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure strict compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a weekend shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
