Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and accurate.
- General Ledger Management: Review and post journal entries, adjust entries, and manage the general ledger for the weekend period.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor statements, and ensure timely payment of liabilities.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and balance sheets.
- Compliance: Ensure all weekend financial activities comply with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Assistance: Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary documentation from other departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for weekend shift experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders.
